adjust me

when someone else is on the line, you adjust.

would you sacrifice for love?

would you sacrifice what you stand for,
would you sacrifice your future,
would you sacrifice your dreams?

if you are true to your love, then you would.

you would give up what you stand for,
you would seek a alternate future,
and you would find a different dream

now, what happens when the person
that you love is the one who is compromised instead?

would you ask them to give up their hopes,
would you ask them to give up their dreams,
would you ask them to choose you over what they aspire to?

life is tough enough without having to make that decision,
but what if you had to make it nonetheless?

would you sacrifice their happiness in order to achieve yours,
or would your love be true, that you would rather them
be happy and find their path in life, even without you?

the adjustment bureau. go watch.

  1. I wouldn't change for the worst when I'm in Love. If I find out that the person I am with is hoping that I'd degrade myself just for him. He ain't getting this chick, No. LOL.
Would you rather fall for ordinary someone who'd support you in many ways (in other words, your soulmate), or someone rare (extra beautiful, extra intelligent, rich or whatever), who's hard to get but never compromises?
We can never get anyone perfect, but if you'd want that special someone to love you the way you do him/her, he/she would love you without spoiling you, that's per my view la :P hehehe!

    I think so because:
    1) If you love a person, you shouldn't make em give up their dreams or etc.. you should be the supporter,..
    2) If that person loves you in ways you deserve to be loved by em, they should play the supporting role too...
    3) Both parties should not spoil each other rotten because by doing so... imagine in the long run, later on - one of ya will be bringing this shizz up because tak tahan keeping it in anymore.. so lepas geram then.... *BOOM* kan?

    :D

  2. in an ideal world, we wouldn't be spoiling loved ones,
however we dont live in one, and sometimes weighing
decisions to stay / go if you are the one who is spoiling the other person, is a heavy one indeed.

in plenty of ways you are right,
we should be supportive of loved ones' dreams,

if we're lucky, perhaps we'll find someone who is fully supportive of ours. 8-)
