when i was younger, i did my practical training
over at this hot-shot company back home
it was intimidating.
but here's the thing; my supervisors made me
feel as if i was part of the work family straightaway,
they made me realize i could do anything i set my mind to,
and they made me feel that my small contribution
was like the best thing in the world!
that, in many ways, can change one's self esteem
in such a positive manner, it's unbelievable!
so that's the experience i try to pass on to my interns;
i want them to see the working world can be fun,
i want them to trust their own ability,
i want them to think, and be sensible about it,
i want them to be intrigued with simple things,
and i want them to know that, it doesn't take a
4.00 cgpa to be succesful in life
a wise old man once told me;
"...it's only natural when you get older,
you would wanna pass on your experience
to the younger people, and leave a legacy..."
so here's my advice;
pass on a good experience,
and leave a good legacy behind
it'll be worth it.
